Marvin Isley has joined the growing list of brilliant musicians to have left us in the last few months. Marvin and his brothers were particularly gifted as they mastered both the soul and funk genres and they made it look easy. If you're wondering where most of the soul you hear today came from, look no further. These guys were so good they deserve two songs today. One for the funk, and two for the soul.
